American Plastic Toys is proud to have great employees, both hourly and salaried, at four facilities located in Michigan and Mississippi. We have many employees who will celebrate more than 20+ years of service with us this year, and we have some who are relatively new to the APT family. They are all valuable and important to the way we operate our business!
At the manufacturing plants, we run a three shift operation: #1 Shift is 7am-3pm, #2 Shift is 3pm-11pm, and #3 Shift is 11pm-7am. Our Corporate Office is located in Michigan and the core office hours are 7:30am-4:30pm.

We also contribute to locally base charities through our Jeans for Charity program, with proceeds being donated to the local Hospitality House.
We offer comparable, and in some classifications incentive based, pay for hourly positions. In addition, we offer a shift premium for the afternoon and midnight shifts. We also provide initial increases based on accumulated hours, up to a maximum amount.
Our salaried positions are also based on the comparable market rates for each job classification. We incorporate a pay for performance based system, with annual increases and bonuses based on Company and employee performance each year.
