Attention American Plastic Toys Employees
ALL PLANTS RE-OPEN
Pursuant to the Michigan Governor’s Order 2020-77, allowing manufacturing facilities to begin operations effective May 11, 2020, the following schedule is in place:
The Rose City Plant is re-opening on Monday, May 11, 2020. Employees should report to work on their normally scheduled shift. If they are unable to report on Monday, they MUST contact the HR Office, Sheila Hensley, at 989-685-2455.
The Walled Lake Plant is re-opening on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. Employees should report to work on their normally scheduled shift on this date. If they are unable to return on 5/13/2020, they MUST contact the HR Office, Haley Ackler, at 248-313-3519. Some employees may be contacted to return to work earlier to prepare for operations to resume, but they will be contacted separately.
Pursuant to the Mississippi Governor’s Order permitting local businesses to resume operations as of April 27th, the Olive Branch Plant has been re-opened. All employees should report to work on their regularly scheduled shift at this time, unless they have provided medical or other documentation which prohibits them from returning at this time, to HR. American Plastic Toys continues to be committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all of our employees. We are following all of the current CDC guidelines and requirements, in order to maintain cleanliness and social distancing. APT will provide face coverings to all employees as needed, but kindly request our employees bring their own as long as it meets the CDC requirements. We continue our efforts to acquire Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and if you are willing and able to bring a facemask/covering it will be greatly appreciated. To help maintain a healthy and save working environment, all employees will be screened prior to work each day to help prevent spread of Covid-19 and to ensure that those who enter the building do not have a fever or other symptoms related to Covid-19. Finally, all employees who are ill or have been directly exposed to a Covid-19 positive person (confirmed with a positive test) within the previous 14 days, are requested to contact their Plant Management or HR prior to returning to work. Providing a safe and healthy working environment as well as protecting our employees and customers is a top priority!
